General Information

The purpose of this part of the web site is so provide a place where people can place notices. This is an on-going noticeboard, which is regularly updated. This means that people do not need to wait for the newsletter to come out in order to place a notice.

Anyone can place a notice on the noticeboard. It is not necessary to join the 25% M.E. Group in order to place a notice. However, notices must relate to severe M.E. We DO NOT place adverts from people looking for a relationship, marriage or romance. We regret we cannot place adverts from commercial organisations selling their products.

Examples of notices that may appear here:-

	people looking for contacts with severe M.E within their own country
	people looking for contacts with a particular symptom or problem
	draw attention to anything happening in the severe M.E. world in a given country.
	respite care / holiday places members have found helpful.
	treatments members have found helpful

Placing your notice and getting replies

There are 2 ways of getting responses to a notice:-

1. Ask us to request that people who wish to respond to your advert send their reply the the 25% M.E. Group email address. We will then forward your messages to you. This means that you do not need to publicise your own email address on the Internet. We cannot guarantee to forward all replies immediately but will do so as soon as we are able. This will depend on the volume of replies to messages on the noticeboard being sent through us.

2. Giving your own email address so that people can contact you direct.
Using this method will probably mean you receive replies more quickly, as messages do not need to be sorted and forwarded by the Web Team. However, you MUST read, understand and agree to the following disclaimer before you put your email address on the Web Site.

IMPORTANT

The 25% M.E. Group and the Web Team can take ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSIBILITY for any problems resulting from publicising your email address on the 25% M.E. Group Web Site, such as unsolicited mail or any other problems whatsoever.
