DO YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW,

SUFFER SEVERELY FROM THIS DISEASE?

There are approximately 200,000 people in the UK who suffer from M.E., some do recover.

Did you know that about 25% of sufferers, remain long term ill and disabled by the disease?

It affects people from all walks of life, all age groups and it can strike when you are least expecting it. Many sufferers are left isolated, house bound and often bed bound by the effects of the illness.

If you, or someone you know has this condition, then there is a support group, called the '25% M.E. Group'. We understand and appreciate the difficulties that you are going through.  We produce a Newsletter twice a year, which offers various helpful tips on how to survive this illness. But all is not doom and gloom: the Newsletter has many other interesting subjects to both inform and cheer us up. There are various methods of keeping in contact with each other. We may not be able to offer a cure, but we certainly do seek to give meaningful support and break the isolation, wherever we can.

We also look at ways to raise funding and awareness of our plight, so that the professionals can find a possible cure to this very disabling disease.

If you are virtually house bound and/or bed bound, by M.E., then join the group - it's easy. For further information please send a stamped addressed envelope to: 25% M.E. Group, 4 Douglas Court, Beach Road, Troon, Ayrshire. KA10 6SQ.
